Oleg’s painting show at the Exhibition Committee wasn't guaranteed as paperwork process on the canvases export to Ukraine for a one-man show was dragged out. Eventually, it was necessary to remove departure date to present new works personally, after all the Exhibition Committee means more for the artist, than ten classes at the Art University.
In August 2013 Oleg worked over landscapes which he painted in different places: in Vladimir, in Sudogda and Vyaznikky areas. Everything united them in one: the presence of a birch which Oleg wanted to paint long ago in his own way. He was going to study this unique white-trunked tree in detail, express its character and the rhythm in his pictures.
One landscape with a group of birches which have been overgrown with grey bark on a forest edge in cloudy weather was complete in two-three sittings. Then on the old Vladimir street once he caught a fine view of a birch standing near a church with long braids lowered to the earth. One more treescape with a set of white trunks was found in remarkable forest of Vyazniky area. There he didn’t manage to finish the picture in three sittings because of approaching fall began to change paints.
